Last Monday, the Wikipaella Foundation celebrated its annual gala in Valencia, in which numerous restaurants from all over the world were awarded for cooking the authentic paella recipe. This year, 59 restaurants were awarded with the maximum ‘cullera de fusta’ award.
The Wikipaella is an association that was born with the support of the Generalitat Valenciana to promote the gastronomy of the Valencian Community and the identity of the different varieties of paella that are cooked, respecting the traditions of each region.
This year, the great novelty of the gala was the presentation of the wikipaella app, which allows people to geolocate up to 319 restaurants around the world in which to eat an authentic paella, not only in the Valencian Community, but worldwide.
They also announced the creation of the ‘Paella Museum’, which is expected to be underway in 2020.
The paella is still in good shape and, from Arroz Dacsa, we join with the Wikipaella foundation to give it the prominence that this dish deserves, of course made with the best products, always local and seasonal.
